Small quantities go straight through the shop

Single kegs and small lots need no detour – put them in the EU Sankey (S-type). For larger quantities please send an enquiry; we then work out the scale price, availability and freight for your exact quantity. Anything that departs from the standard goes through the enquiry as well: colour rings, your own marking, a particular laser engraving.

Spears and spare parts are stock items. The shop carries them from the single box up to pallet quantity, with a price scale.

Process

How a refurbishment runs with us

Four steps, a fixed inspection catalogue, documented condition. Since recently, every run ends with a unique identifier – so that the keg remains traceable later.

1

Delivery & assessment

Every keg is recorded individually, design, volume and spear type are logged and the condition is assessed.

2

Pre-clean & reconditioning

Rough pre-clean, removal of beerstone and deposits, check or replace the spear, straighten dents, test for leaks.

3

Polishing & marking

The keg is polished until it looks as good as new. Then the electrolytic engraving with your logo and the unique keg identifier for the register.

4

Release & dispatch

Final inspection, allocation to your stock, dispatch across Europe or storage with us.

The group

Three brands, one company

Keg Exchange is the roof. Underneath it, two specialists work under their own names – for keg rental and for spears. Same logistics, same contacts, same quality requirements.

  • Delivery and collection
  • Cleaning included
  • Thousands of kegs available
  • Short and long term

Rent kegs instead of buying them

Renting runs through Keg Rental Service – Europe-wide from the logistics centre in Poland, including delivery, collection, cleaning and maintenance. Your capital stays in the business instead of sitting in the keg store.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What does a reconditioned keg cost?

The price depends on design, capacity, spear type and quantity. In the shop you see current net prices from a minimum order of six units. From pallet quantities upwards we quote individually – just ask us.

How long does a refurbishment take?

That depends on quantity and workload. For a binding answer we need the number of units, the keg type and the intended scope – cleaning only, reconditioning or rebranding.

Can you put our logo on our kegs?

Yes. We engrave electrolytically, on one or both sides. A stencil is produced once; after that the branding costs very little per keg. Existing third-party markings are removed as part of the rebranding.

How do I tell which keg I have?

From two dimensions: outside diameter and height. A DIN keg measures 363 mm in diameter, a EURO keg 395 mm, and SLIM kegs range from 237 to 309 mm depending on the series. The height then tells you the capacity. Try it out above – or send us a photo of the keg neck and we will also tell you which spear is installed.

Do you also deliver outside Germany and Poland?

Yes, across Europe. Parcel dispatch up to 30 kg, above that by freight forwarder. We calculate the freight costs per order – for pallet quantities a groupage load almost always pays off.
