Why the EURO keg is the safe route
A keg is worth as much as someone can make use of it. EURO kegs in 30 and 50 litres are the standard in European dispensing – and in return there is always a spare part and always someone to refurbish it. On resale the 30-litre is the more sought-after size; for the 50-litre the second-hand market is amply supplied at present. Anyone building a fleet from scratch with no particular reason to do otherwise has the quietest ride with this one.
Dimensions and stackability
The wider diameter brings a lower centre of gravity and sturdier stacking rims. On pallets the EURO keg is therefore the easier partner – at the cost of floor space in the cold room.
In what condition?
We supply every shape factory-new and reconditioned. Technically the two are equivalent – the difference lies in price and availability. What happens in a complete overhaul.
