Free up space, gain security, save money
Draught beer is seasonal. The stock a brewery needs in July is in the way in February – in the hall, in the yard, in front of the filling line. And it is not only in the way there, it is also unprotected there.
Our warehouse in Poland holds up to 500,000 kegs. That covers everything from a small brewery's allocation to the stocks of international groups, and it is flexible: short term over a single season or long term over years.
What is included
- Securing the site. Fencing, video surveillance, alarm and fire protection systems. A keg store is a scrap yard to anyone who takes it for one – that is why we do not economise here.
- Proper storage. Dry, sorted, on pallets. No keg stands outdoors and none stands filled in the frost.
- Putting into and taking out of storage, with transport. We collect and deliver back, on schedule and in the quantity you need at the time.
- Complete stock documentation. You know at any time how many kegs of which design are standing with us. Without that figure, stock in storage is, as far as planning is concerned, stock that has disappeared.
- Reconditioning before storage. A keg that is going to stand for half a year anyway can be overhauled in that time. The journey is then one instead of two.
Include the transport in your calculation
Storage costs are one part, getting there is the other. How many kegs go on a lorry depends on the keg design and on the internal height of the trailer – between a standard trailer at 2.70 m and a jumbo at 3.00 m there is a whole layer of DIN kegs. That is a difference of roughly a third of the load.
